September 13, 1943 retired from ATT Widowed 4 11 Yes I go to the gym, go to the movies every Wed. nite, play Bunco once a month, out to eat occasionally, go to the local casinos when $$ permits. I try to enjoy everyday, since I have found we might not have tomorrow. I live with my daughter & grandaughter, who is handicapped. I try to help with her when I can & visit my other grandkids also. They are so much fun
It just seems impossible I will be going to my 50th reunion.  I am only 50!  I wish.  Anyway, I will be bringing my brother as my date & this will be a chance for me to see my sister & nieces & nephews.  I live in sunny So. Calif., so if this were taking place in Jan., I wouldn't be attending!  Can't wait to see everyone.  Send kathy a MessageSend kathy a Message

August 17, 1943 retired teacher Married 2 four yes Before David retired, my husband had a job that offered the opportunity to travel, and I often got to go with him, mostly in the US, but sometimes to Europe. We have a sailboat that we keep in the Virgin Islands. David is a braver sailor than I am, but I do love the time we spend on the boat.
I've taken up quilting.
A few years ago we learned that the local university offers classes to student over 60 at $25 a credit and ever since we've been taking print-making classes.
And we have grandchildren. That's been wonderful.
When I left college, I took a job with the Job Corps in New Bedford, MA.  I met and married David Heaphy there.  We lived in southern NJ for a few years, then moved to Brooklyn, NY where we lived for almost thirty years and where we raised our two daughters.  I worked in adult literacy programs for a while and finished up my working life as a high school English teacher in the NYC public school system.  Seventeen years ago my husband  got a job offer in Baltimore and we've been here ever since.

August 31, 1943 Retired Teacher Married 1 None Yes I have been married to '61 grad Dan Hill for 45 years. Tragically we lost our only son Geoff in a bicycle/car accident at age thirteen. You don't really recover from something like this but you do learn to live with it. I was an elementary teacher for 30 years and love gardening, crafts, reading and antiquing. I volunteer with St. John Hospice once a week. We have lived in Shelby Township for the past 33 years. Many thanks to the committee for all their hard work in planning this event.

February 16, 1943 Retired, and loving it! Married 3 seven, ages 5 -16 yrs! Yes, from the US Govn't, Dept of Defense I retired 7 years ago and have since then have done lots of travelling in the US and abroad. I enjoy golfing, & gardening, quilting and knitting & crocheting. I continue to be active in the community: chaired our local Food Bank Board, on the Fort Custer Historical Society Board, volunteer at our local hospital, Leila Arboretum Society and the Kellogg Manor house to name a few.
But most of important of all, I enjoy spending time with my 3 kids, grandkids and my mother who is still very active and independent at 88 yrs. We have been blessed to have such a great life and family and will be celebrating our 50th Anniversary in a few years!

I can't believe it's been 50 years already, seems like yesterday.  As I told my kids and now my grandkids, enjoy your high school years they are some of the best years of your life!   I have been fortunate to still have good friends from that era - Lois, Margaret and until just recently  Betty Stieler Warber!  Can't wait to see everyone at the Reunion!

July 08, 1943 Married 3 3 I think so......but pretty darn busy!! I finished up my career as a hospice social worker in 2005 and my husband, John, is semi-retired from the Univ. of Windsor.I continue to do volunteer work with Hospice and also head a bereavement committee for my parish. We keep busy with friends, and also with kids and grandkids when we can get them; they don't live very close, darn it!. We love to bicycle, keep up with movies, do lots of reading, LOVE the symphony here in Windsor as well the good ol' DSO. Stratford Festival is a favourite hangout for us in the season.
We've had some wonderful travel opportunities in the last few years, including China (!) which I never dreamed of visiting.
I had a couple of health setbacks since the last reunion, including a long stint of cancer treatment, but am fit as a fiddle at this point. Getting older and feeling wiser........

I'm loving working on this reunion. If the reunion events are half as fun as our committee meetings......you have a real treat in store!
If only Coutsos and Kingshill would settle down at the meetings, we'd get even more done...LOL
(Oops! I'd better be nice to Pete. He's supposed to be posting my photos for me as I'm not very tech savvy. )
Hope to see you there!

January 06, 1944 Print Shop owner Married 2 3 Retirement is for older people For the past 10 years I have been doing the same things I did for the 10 years before. Work, eat, sleep, make a little love, get down a bit and a few times a year take a vacation.

I was married young, had two children now 47 and 45 and stayed married for 18 years. Got divorced in '81 and took off 8 years for bad behaviour. I met the lovely Linda in a bar (thru friends) and she convinced me to give up my wild ways and become a step -father to her two great daughters and I've never been happier. We like south Florida and usually take a Christmas and spring vacation in either South Beach or Key West.

I'll probably retire when I grab my chest and yell, "Call 911" but until that time I can be found at my print shop. It's the smell of the ink and the roar of the presses that keeps me going.

I find I spend a lot of time thinking about you all. Wondering about how life is treating you and thinking about those that have passed. it was 50 years ago, a half century but it can't be. In my mind it was only yesterday.
I have 2 of my own, my son in Grand Rapids and my daughter in Charlottesville VA.  My stepdaughters are in Orlando Fl and Chicago IL Send Charles a MessageSend Charles a Message
